We are back and running full force for the fall! The kids are back in school; there is a nice crispness in the air; Starbucks​ is officially serving Pumpkin Spice Latte​s (#therealpsl)! Wait, it was over 100 degrees in parts of Los Angeles today. Something is not right here. Well, at least the kids are in school and Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back! At least we can still plan our days at the beach...probably still for the next month or two! So, with that still being a possibility, let's keep our beach bodies on point! That's right, don't lose all that you have gained while getting in shape for the peak of this pool party period. Or don't gain back all that you worked so hard to lose! Whatever your goals have been for the summer, don't let the hint, the possibility, the threat of fall weather approaching allow you to lose sight of those goals! Hey! Get this, you could also use this time as a time of renewal. A starting point for new goals. A fresh start. Wipe the slate clean. Begin again. Remember, being healthy is not a fad. It is a lifestyle. Not something to focus on temporarily and then forget. Let's take this time to stay committed, stay focused, stay determined to maintain a healthy way of life. New year resolutions in January? Goals for spring break? Beach body for the summer? How about providing a change in your workout while still fervently focusing on physical fitness in the fall? Work hard for the mental and physical health and well-being that comes along with a fit body and mind! Let's do this! Let's keep improving! Let's keep working intensely, staying focused on form, and having fun! Be a part of the Ride with Tommy!​ Beginners welcomed. Experienced riders challenged. And everyone in between contributes to the overall success of the class! Threshold Ride on Mondays at 9:30am and Saturdays at 9:45am. Peak Performance Ride on Tuesdays at 7:00am. #totalrequestride on Wednesdays at 9:30am. Sexy Spin on Thursdays at 7:00am. Regular rides on Fridays at 9:30am. Lots of opportunities to make a positive difference or a positive change. In this morning's #totalrequestride @crunchgym on Sunset, I took requests for favorite videos from the floor! Yes, as I couldn't predict every video that would be requested, I had to use Youtube. So yes, there were once again some commercials to which we had to listen. Thankfully, some of them were for new music! But we also had to contemplate how our insurance broker was treating us and if we were in good or the right hands! Oh well, thanks to those that were not shy and requested videos! Taylor Swift! Justin Bieber! Duran Duran! Demi Lovato! It was awesome! I hope to see you in class soon!
