This morning's class was kind of a surprise birthday spin for Joanna. Joanna is the new mom who was spinning up until her 9th month of pregnancy...and then was back in spin class 7 weeks later!!!! Joanna is awesome! She said she has been a little busy lately so she didn't have time to give me a full list of requests for a birthday spin, but she did tell me that she wanted me to play one of her favorite songs. I said of course. However, what she didn't know, was that her husband, Brian, had already been in contact with me and had given me a complete track list to surprise her for her birthday. It was so much fun! Joanna was surprised and I think everyone in class got a great workout along with her! *Saturday, Crunch will be honoring and celebrating the life of DaVid Brainin, a colleague and team member who recently passed away. All proceeds of personal training sessions booked on this day will go to a fund to help provide for the family he left behind. Donations can also be made after all Ride and other group fitness classes on Saturday. I am so sorry to miss this opportunity to pay tribute to an amazing trainer and instructor. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
