A lot of fun and high energy music is being released right now. So this morning's class featured some of that. Fun. High energy. New music. A few new remixes. A couple of songs that currently have news-making videos going viral due to the lavish productions and numerous and high-profile guests featured in them. A definite British influence on this track list, including a song that I discovered on my recent vacation in London. Some of my kids' favorites. And a request from a Ride with Tommy! regular who will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow, A.J. Happy birthday A.J.! I hope its the best ever! Thanks for your birthday request and for your long and continued support of the Ride with Tommy! Thanks to everyone for your support of my classes. I am truly grateful and honored that you include my classes in the pursuit of the healthiest you possible! Improving your mental and physical health and well-being one pedal stroke at a time. I hope that all of you do indeed leave class feeling better about yourself, thinking clearer, experiencing positive energy, and confident that you made a difference in your life. There is a lot that goes into the preparation of a spin class. There is a lot that can make it a pleasurable (as pleasurable as can be for a workout!) and rewarding experience. An important part of that experience is the music. I always try to provide fun, high-energy and popular music that represents a variety of styles so that everyone in class can relate and benefit from their favorite song, artist or genre at one point. It is my job as the instructor to make class as challenging as possible for experienced riders, as assessible as possible for newcomers, and always as fun, high-energy, positive, intense and distraction-free as possible. These are my goals for every class. I do not take your trust and my responsibility lightly. I hope that my goals are met for you, the rider. I always look forward to our 45-minute journeys together. Thanks for the opportunity. I hope to see you in class (again) soon! Until then, in good health, tommy
