WOW! I can't begin to describe how excited I am about this morning's class. Though there were a few bumps along the road in the preparation for this class, it all came together and because of all of you, it turned out better than I could have imagined! The turnout was perfect - a sold out class without turning anyone away! The music turned out to be so much fun (thankfully as I stayed up almost all night putting it together!) And the clothing drive resulted in an amount of clothes to be given to Out Of The Closet (operated by the AIDS Health Foundation) which was probably more than 3 times what was given the last time we did this. WOW! I can't thank all of you enough for your support of this morning's Special Holiday Sexy Spin and your continued support of the Ride with Tommy! You all make it so rewarding and worthwhile for me. I am truly blessed to be doing something I enjoy so much that is also good for so many of us. So again I say thank you, Merry Christmas, and happy holidays to you all!

Special Holiday Sexy Spin. Tomorrow. Thursday. 7am. Crunch. Give the Shirt Off Your Back to Charity!

Make plans now to attend the last Special Sexy Spin class of the year (actually the last Sexy Spin of the year!) tomorrow morning, Thursday, December 16th at 7:00am! Special guests, special music, prizes, and all kinds of good stuff! Someone said the other day that this is like Oprah’s Favorite Things. Someone else said that we need to rotate (on the new bikes!) and donate! I love it! However you look at it, you will still be able to get the same intense ride, while having even more fun than usual while having the opportunity to give to a great cause, while walking away with some great swag!

We’ll also be doing something a little different but completely appropriate for the season. We will be highlighting a couple of Crunch members who have overcome great difficulties and are not only surviving but thriving because they have chosen a healthy lifestyle. They are willing to share their stories and in so doing, I hope that we all will be inspired even more to be thankful for the health that we have and to commit even more to our own healthy lifestyles and workout routines!

And once again, we will experience the return of the “Give the Shirt Off Your Back (because it’s Sexy Spin after all!)” mini clothes drive! Bring some of your clothes that are nice but that you no longer use and share them with someone that needs them, especially at this time of year. And I’m thinking that a certain special sexy someone will be there to collect them! All clothes collected will be given to “Out of the Closet”, a chain of thrift stores owned and operated by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, the largest specialized provider of cutting-edge medicine and advocacy regardless of ability to pay. Wow! This morning's double was amazing! It exceeded all expectations! My thanks goes out to John for being such a great instructor to work with on such an awesome experience! And thanks to so many people who showed up for both classes, whether you were doing a double (as so many of you were!) or if you were able to just take one of the two classes, it was amazing having you there! And thanks to everyone who took part in the Red Line Ride part of class. I hope everyone was able to see how their heart rates react to the different workouts that we go through during the Ride. Not only did everyone (hopefully!) get an intense workout, but I think everyone learned a little more about heart rate based training and how important it can be as a part of your overall workout program.
