And the fun continues! The fun AND the work! That's right, have fun while doing the work to make a difference. To make a positive change. A change in the way you workout. The way you look at your workouts. The way you look at your body. Your mindset. Never settle. Decide for yourself that it is so very worth it to get up, get out and workout! And have fun while you do it! Ride with Tommy! The music is almost always music that you know. From today's biggest and newest hits to the best songs from the past for the best workouts today! But don't worry. The fun does not take away from the intensity. If you make the decision to get to class and really make a difference, if you commit to the workout, the Ride, then you will indeed get stronger, burn more calories and ultimately reach a higher level of overall cardiovascular fitness! This morning's class featured new music from Jennifer Lopez @jlo, Justin Timberlake @jtimberlake, Meghan Trainor @Meghan_Trainor and Nick Jonas @nickjonas. We started off with a couple of videos to up the fun and get everyone warmed up and ready. J-Lo's new "Ain't Your Mama" and Justin's new "Can't Fight The Feeling!" were perfect for that! Then, after a remix of Zayn's "Pillowtalk", we flashed back to some oldies including a birthday visit to Janet Jackson's "Someone To Call My Lover" for her 50th birthday this past Monday and the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize" for what would have been his 44th birthday this upcoming Saturday. Finally, winding up the cool down with a song that I couldn't help be reminded by when listening to Justin's "Can't Stop The Feeling": the oldie REO Speedwagon's "Can't Fight This Feeling". Is that just me? Oh well, the Ride this morning was not only a lot of fun, I was so proud of all that everyone accomplished. The dedication with which everyone worked. The positive changes that everyone made. I think we strengthened everyones muscles, especially the most important muscle: the heart. To quote that great masterpiece of art and the great philosopher that we all know and revere, I think everyone's "heart grew three sizes" today! @TheDrSeussQuote Thanks to everyone for being a part of this morning's amazing experience! I'll see you next time, but until then, in good health! tommy!
