Well, we didn't have the video capacity working in class yesterday morning, but we still had a great Ride! Thanks to everyone who made it to class and was a part of 45 minutes of hard work, intensity, commitment, sweat and fun! It takes commitment to make a change. To work toward something that you truly want to achieve. In class, I encourage that commitment. Commitment to proper form. Commitment to the work. Commitment to the workout as I have designed it so that you get the most out of everything that you do. So that you create a positive energy that fills up the room. That pushes and challenges you. That encourages and supports the people around you. So that everyone has the best Ride possible. The most efficient Ride. The most effective Ride. The most productive. The safest. Committing to what I call the three basics: 1) proper form, 2) pace and 3) resistance. Of those 3, form is the most important. As you commit to the best form possible, you insure yourself of a Ride where every little thing you do can make a big difference. A Ride that will move you closer to obtaining results. A Ride that will allow you to work efficiently. In other words, proper form will allow you to work safely while working as hard as you can instead of riding with improper form which can lead to injury immediately or over a period of time. I spend a lot of time talking about proper form and the need to commit to form, pace and resistance. And I want you to work as intensely as you can, no, more than you thought you could! More than you thought possible! And I want you to have fun! Yes, have fun while working so hard that the time in class flies by! So that you leave class confident that you did all that you could to the best of your ability. And that you definitely made a change. A positive change. A change in your mental and physical well-being. In the way you think of yourself. In the way that you see the world around you. Wow. All of that can happen in a spin class? Yes it can. So let's do it! Come join me in the Ride with Tommy! And be sure to check out the track list for this morning's Sexy Spin as well! In good health!
